DIVIDEND FREQUENCY
The number of times a dividend is paid by a single stock or fund. The most common dividend frequencies include quarterly, biannually, and annually. There are no standard calendar dates for paying dividends because it depends on the firm’s fiscal calendar. In case of one-time or special dividends, these are gauged in terms of its frequency since it occurs sporadically.
