ETHICAL INVESTING
An investor’s ethical principles in choosing securities. It depends on an individual’s views. Some may opt to remove certain industries entirely or to over-allocate to industries that meet his ethical guidelines. Sometimes, it is used interchangeably with socially conscious investing but normally, socially conscious funds have one overarching set of guidelines used in selecting the portfolio. This type of investing brings more personalized result.
