EXPECTED VALUE
Anticipated value for a specific investment. In statistics and probability analysis, it is computed by multiplying every possible outcome by the likelihood every outcome will appear, then adding all of these values. Using the expected value, investors can select an occurrence most likely to give them their desired result.
