GENERATION GAP
Differences between individuals of a younger generation and their elders, specifically between a child and their parent’s generation. Moreover, it can also pertain to the differences in actions, beliefs, tastes, and the like between young and old generations. While it has been prevalent across all history periods, the differences have broadened in the 20th and 21st centuries. The Western nations popularized the term in the 1960s.
