GOVERNMENT OF SINGAPORE INVESTMENT CORPORATION - GIC
Government-owned company managing Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund. Incorporated in 1981, it aims to invest the fund more assertively in higher yielding asset classes and over a longer investment horizon to attain long-term returns for the government. GIC is the sixth biggest sovereign wealth fund worldwide, with $320 billion in assets as of 2013.
