INSURANCE FRAUD
Illegal act done by either the buyer or seller of an insurance contract. Fraudulent activities from the issuer include selling policies from non-existent firms, failing to submit premiums, and churning policies to generate more commissions. On the buyer, it includes overdrawn claims, fake medical history, viatical fraud, post-dated policies, bogus death or kidnapping, and murder, among others.
