INTERBANK RATE
The interest rate charged on short-term loans made between banks. Banks borrow and lend money in the interbank market to regulate liquidity and comply with the requirements imposed on them. The interest rate charged varies on the following factors: availability of money in the market, standard rates, and exact terms of the contract including term length.
