JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT
An entry-level position in accounting. Normally, a degree in accounting is a prerequisite for this position. Other desirable traits include mathematical aptitude and analytical ability. An entry-level account would usually be supervised by either a senior accountant or accounting manager. In general, his duties and responsibilities include preparing monthly financial reports, updating financial statements, posting journal entries, computing payroll taxes, auditing, and keeping accounts receivable and payable.
