KEY PERSON INSURANCE
Life insurance policy that a company purchased for its key persons, partners or proprietors. The future or successful operation of the company lies on these people’s hands. This is beneficial to the company and the firm pays the insurance policy premiums. It is also called "keyman insurance", "key woman insurance" or "business life insurance".
