LCDS
A credit derivative where the credit exposure of an underlying loan is switched between two entities. Its structure is similar to a regular credit default swap, except the basic reference entity is strictly limited to syndicated secured loans, not on any loan or bond. Sometimes these are used for creating bets on the credit quality of an entity.
Also called loan-only credit default swap.
