LOAN OFFICER
Official representatives of banks, credit unions, and lending institutions who acts on behalf of the lender, as well as find and assist borrowers in getting loans. Certain specialized loan officers, called loan underwriters, assess and analyze borrower’s creditworthiness in order to see if the individual is qualified to acquire a loan. Usually, loan officers work on either consumer or mortgage loans.
