LONDON INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL FUTURES AND OPTIONS EXCHANGE - LIFFE
A futures and options exchange located in London, England, which is established in 1982. Designed after Chicago Board of Trade and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, LIFFE used to deal with commodities, futures, and options contracts. But in 2002, Euronext, an electronic stock exchanged based in Netherlands, acquired the exchange as part of its technique to escalate its appearance as a derivatives market. Since then, it was renamed Euronext.liffe.
