LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE - LSE
The main and largest stock exchange in the United Kingdom. Founded in 1773, the regional exchanges were fused to form Stock Exchange of Great Britain and Ireland and later on, renamed as London Stock Exchange (LSE). It has a regional office in Hong Kong. Being the most international of all stock exchanges in the world, there are 350 companies from more than 50 countries are trading in LSE. The Financial Times Stock Exchange 100 Share Index or Footsie is the leading index that comprises of top 100 blue chips. It also has two equity markets: Main Market and Alternative Investment Market where international stocks are being traded.
