MAGNET EMPLOYER
A well-known business or businessman to whom people are attracted or interested to work for. These are employers with a brand name recognition behind them. They usually magnet top talent, believing this can make the company more profitable. Normally, magnet employers offer higher salary and/or better benefits than their competitors, this making them more appealing for job seekers looking for superior salary. Unfortunately, magnet employers are few. Companies offer lower pay and benefits, or vice versa.
