MARKET OUT CLAUSE
Provision or stipulation included in an underwriting agreement, which allows the underwriter to withdraw from a stock underwriting without paying any type of fee. Market Out Clause can take effect for certain reasons like sourcing market conditions or the underwriter is experiencing hardship in selling the stock. Although there are various reasons, it must be noted in the market out clause.
