MEDICARE WAGES
An individual’s earnings which are subject to US payroll tax known as Medicare tax. Like the other US payroll tax, Medicare tax is used to subsidized the US government’s Medicare program that provides government-funded healthcare and hospital insurance benefits to retirees and disabled. Medicare and Social Security taxes are charged on both employees and employers.
