MULTILATERAL TRADING FACILITY - MTF
A trading system that facilitates the exchange of financial systems between several parties. It allows qualified contract participants to assemble and transfer various securities, especially instruments that usually do not have an official market. These are usually electronic systems governed by certified market operators or bigger investment banks. Traders normally submit trading orders electronically through a software engine where it matches buyers with sellers.
