SEC FORM 20-F

SEC Form 20-F is a form required to be submitted by all foreign private users who have listed equity shares in the US exchange under the Securities and Exchange Commission. An annual report is to be submitted within six months of the end of the company’s fiscal year or in case of change in the fiscal year-end is mandated under SEC Form 20-F. It is under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 where the reporting and eligibility requirements of SEC Form 20-F are stated. The data gathered for SEC Form 20-F is not as strict as the requirements for domestic US companies. The companies whose voting shares are less than 50% are owned by US investors may be eligible.
