SMIS
Security Market Indicator Series (SMIS) is an index representing the performances of the overall market and its segment with data gathered through the sampling of securities. The SMIS’s method is to assume that a statistically valid set of securities represents the performance of its bigger set. The objective of SMIS is for the provision of aggregate performance of the market.
