SEGMENT MARGIN
Segment Margin is a business component’s gain or loss yielded during the duration of business operation. Large companies are the ones who usually get segment margins for the reason that the total breakdown of the whole company’s gains and losses is not enough to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the business. Segment margins paints a more accurate picture of the company’s status as it points out each divisions revenues and expenses.
