SEQUESTERED ACCOUNT
Sequestered Account is a deposit account that has been seized via court order or legal action. In a sequestered account, funds may not be pulled out without the consent of the party that seized the said account. Sequestered accounts are typically separated from the other accounts and put in an institution in a segregated file.
