SHORT-SWING PROFIT RULE
Short-Swing Profit Rule is a regulation under the Securities and Exchange Commission that mandates the return of profits that come from buying and selling of company stocks within a six-month period by company insiders or someone who is a part of the company such as officer, director, and anyone holding more than 10% of the shares of the company.
