SIGNAL LINE
A signal line is also referred to as a ‘trigger line’. It is a moving average that is plotted beside a technical indicator. The purpose of a signal line is to be a transaction signal as most buy signals are created once the indicator pass the signal line. If the indicator goes below, it is a sell signal.
