SILVER CERTIFICATE
Silver certificate is a formal legal tender. It is a paper currency that the US government began issuing in 1878. The silver certificate represents a specified amount of silver bullion that an investor purchased or holds. Certificates were made to enable the buy and sell of silver without having to deal with the physical possession of the investment.
