SKIMMING
Skimming is an act used by identity thieves to capture the personal information of an individual through electronic means. A little electronic device called the ‘skimmer’ scans the credit card and steals the information in the magnetic strip to be used in illegal ways. Even legitimate business transactions are not safe from skimming.
