TAPING RULE
Rule requiring firms to put up special supervisory procedures when a specific percentage of its employees are hired from brokers or dealers that are expelled or with revoked registration for breaching trading regulations. Created by the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), it requires three years of recording all customer transactions for the company.
