TAXABLE MUNICIPAL BOND
Fixed-income security issued by a local government whose income is not tax-exempt. The bond is primarily issued to fund a project or activity that gives no major benefit to the public. Hence, the government would impose tax on these bonds unlike in most municipal bonds.
