TREYNOR INDEX
Measure of an investment portfolio’s risk-adjusted performance by subtracting its rate of return by the risk-free rate of return, then dividing it by the portfolio’s beta. The higher the number, the higher excess return generated by the portfolio. Jack Treynor designed the index. Also called Treynor Portfolio.
