VALUE AVERAGING
Value Averaging is an investing strategy that works the same way as dollar cost averaging (DCA) in terms of the steady monthly contributions but is different in terms of the approach to the amount of every monthly contribution. In this strategy, the investor targets a specific growth rate or amount on his portfolio or asset base for each month and then adjusts the contribution for the following month based on the relative gain or shortfall on the original asset base.
