In terms of investment, Wave refers to the pattern of behavior usually characterized by increases and decreases of stock prices.
Meanwhile, in terms of property, Wave pertains to a large, strong movement made by homeowners with the purpose of replacing their existing mortgages with new ones, which usually have better terms. Specifically, this is called "refinancing wave."
