ZERO-VOLATILITY SPREAD
Zero-Volatility Spread or Z-Spread is also called a "static spread." It is a constant spread that makes the price of a security equivalent to the current value of its cash flows. Each of the cash flows is discounted at the proper Treasury spot rate where such cash flow is received. Then, the Z-spread is added.
