ACCOUNTABILITY
In the simplest definition, it is the state of being accountable or liable of any accounts. It can be done by an individual or by a group. An auditor will review the company’s financial statement and he or she will be responsible and legally liable for any misstatements of fraud, it also forces an accountant to be very knowledgeable in his or her practice because any mistake done can cause him or her to be legally responsible.
