AMOUNT AT RISK
It is the total difference of the accrued cash value of a life insurance policy and the death benefit’s amount that is paid by a person. To illustrate, if the actual value of the specific policy is $130,000 and the accrued value is $80,000, the amount at risk is $50,000. It actually determines the protection of cost by the policy.
