CAPPED RATE
Interest rate enabled to fluctuate but cannot go higher than the set interest cap. These are supposed to give the borrower a hybrid of fixed and variable rate loan. The fixed portion comes from the rate itself, while the variable part is from the loan’s capacity to move up or down along with market fluctuations.
