CONTROLLER
Individual responsible for all accounting activities of a company. In most organizations, controller is the firm’s chief accountant who oversees the accounting department and helps management in outlining and using managerial account information. This chief financial officer may distribute certain financial management responsibilities between a controller and a treasurer. His responsibilities include cost and financial accounting, data processing, and taxes. Also called comptroller.
