Selection of countries pooled together to give insight on the outcome of changing economic conditions. The basket trails the economies and markets of nations with the same economic characteristics, certain trade characteristics, or depend on the production of some goods. It may also pertain to a basket of securities which tracks the overall economic performance of a specific country. Chosen securities encompass companies of various market caps and sectors.
