EARNINGS RECAST
Act of disclosing amended financial statement, specifying intent. Some of the most common reasons for recasting earnings include showing the impact of a discontinued business or separating our earnings-related occurrences deemed to be non-recurring or non-representative of standard business earnings. Also called earnings restatement.
