INCOME PARTICIPATING SECURITY - IPS
Security which combines common share and high-yield bond to allocate an issuer’s cash flow to investors in a tax-efficient method. Generally, it trades on securities and its two components can be split and sold separately. The cash flow is comprised of dividends from the common share and bond interest payments. Also called enhanced income security and income deposit security.
