LOCAL
Future exchange traders who predominantly buy and sell for his or her personal account, but sometimes may fill public orders. Locals act as floor traders on the exchanges. But the main difference between locals and floor traders is that locals are not usually members of the exchange they desire to trade on. Thus, they are categorized in another classification of floor trader.
