SURVIVAL ANALYSIS
Branch of statistics assessing time duration before certain events take place. However, the same techniques can be employed to determine the time until any occurrence. In practice, there are numerous problems if the event being studies is relatively unusual or takes a long time to happen. Results from this analysis are used to compute insurance premiums.
