COMPOSITE INDEX OF LAGGING INDICATORS
Index monitoring the economy’s movements in the previous months. Published by the Conference Board monthly, the index is comprised of seven economic elements: outstanding and commercial loans, the Consumer Price Index for services the previous month, manufacturing and trade inventories to sales, inverted average employment length, labor cost per unit of labor output, average prime rate banks charge, and consumer credit.
